IT Eye are able to specify, source and supply a wide variety of computers, servers, printers, software and general IT related peripherals at competitive rates.  Whilst we appreciate that everyone can scour the internet looking for the best price for a computer, what you might end up choosing might not be the best computer to perform the tasks that you require, so what might look like a great deal on a website (price-wise), may turn out to be an expensive mistake.

A common question we get asked is does it come with Word / Excel / Outlook?

The short answer to that is NO!

All computers come with an Operating System and plenty of other software pre-installed, including a trial version of Office in most instances.  Whilst this may work for a 30 or 60 day period, if you wish to continue using the software after the trial has run out, you will be required to purchase it.

Whilst you may be focussing on the bottom line when searching for a computer, laptop or server, we focus on what tasks you need it to perform and the existing software that you are currently running, some of which may not work with a new system that you chose based on price alone.  With our 40+ years experience in computers, we can choose the right system for your pocket, but also making sure that you don’t have to re-invest in all the existing software you currently own, where possible.  This can save you hundreds, even thousands of pounds.

If you have already been quoted a price for a system, we are happy to look over the quote, discuss your needs with you and see if what you have been proposed is actually suitable for you.

We won’t try to sell you something you don’t need just because it makes us more profit (unlike some places you might go) because we are techies not sales people.  We want to find the most suitable solution for you, based on your requirements, for the right price.  We would rather have you come back to us in 3 or 4 years time to replace your computer as an existing customer than fleece you on an initial sale and then lose your business down the road because you feel ripped off.
